First of all, summer camp organizing committee would like to express its heartfelt thanks to all community members for loving our children and supporting us in our endeavour to teach our culture and values to our children. We are really blessed and inspired by the overwhelming support that we are receiving from our community members. Thank you all.

As of today, 76 children are formally registered with the program. And some parents are bringing their children for couple days here and there. This way, this program is now touching the life of nearly 90 children. This is a great achievement for all of us. Besides, children program, many families and friends have also been organizing evening spiritual discourses program. So far, we have organized nearly 12 discourses in different parts of DFW.

I would also like to annouce that, we won't be able to accept more sponsors/donations for food as there are no spots left. However, you can donate water, plastic cups/plates etc. Please call us find out more. We do appreciate all of your wish to sponsor and donate food.

Summer camp updates.

Summer Cultural and Spiritual Camp is going great. 74 children and many volunteers/parents are coming to the camp every day. Each day is a blessed day in summer camp. Guru Dr. Yogi is presenting new topics, ideas, and activities with full of energy to promote spirituality and core Nepali values in our children.

In the evenings, we have been organizing many spiritual discourses at various DFW areas. So far, we have organized programs in Euless, Denton, Coppell.

We are planning the following programs for coming days

  • July 17 (Friday-7 PM): Nepali Community Center, Belt Line, Irving (Only for couples)
  • July 18 (Saturday - 7 PM): Bhuvan Kharel, Plano (advance spiritual program)
  • July 19 (Sunday - 3 PM): Shasi Bhattarai, Keller
  • July 19 (Sunday - 6 PM): Nepali Community Center, Belt Line, Irving
  • July 21 (Tuessday - 7 PM): Nepali Community Center, Belt Line, Irving (Youth Program)
  • July 22 (Wedensday - 7 PM): Madan Ghimire, Irving
  • July 24 (Friday - 7 PM) : Bhutani Nepali Community, DFW
  • July 25 Closing of summer camp 2009 at Nepali Community Center Summer
